The 20th Anniversary edition of The Sanford Guide to HIV/AIDS Therapy includes information on treatment as HIV prevention, updated recommendations for starting antiretroviral therapy (ART), and current ART regimens, with expanded once daily options.
We have expanded our focus to include a new section on Hepatitis C (HCV) covering epidemiology, natural history, diagnosis, clinical setting, treatment setting, new treatment regimens utilizing recently approved NS3/4A protease inhibitors and tracking of HCV drugs in development. As usual, all tables have been updated with new literature references and recommendations as needed.
