The focus of this book is to detail the advances that have been made in theory development and to demonstrate the continued relevance of theory to nursing practice.  Part I discusses concepts, statement, and theory development with recently published examples of theory strategies. Part II, III, and IV are reorganized in this edition lo emphasize the interdependence among concept-statement-, and theory-related strategies. The last section. Part V. features new integrative principles related to concept, statement, and theory testing and also covers validation of concepts and theories.
