Outstanding acoustic performance and exceptional versatility characterize the Littmann Cardiology III stethoscope. The Cardiology III's stethoscopes innovative design offers a tunable diaphragm on each side of the chest piece, the two diaphragms are capable of hearing low and high frequency sounds better than other stethoscope models. The large side of the Cardiology III can be used for auscultating adult patients, while the small side is especially useful with pediatric patients, around bandages, and carotid assessment.

I have a hearing loss, and had been using electronic scopes, until I used a friend's Cardiology III. I can hear breath sounds perfectly with it. I use it in the pre-hospital setting, and the design blocks out outside noise so I can clearly hear the sounds coming through the scope.

I've used Littmann scopes for years. I've had the copper CIII for 8 months and love it. A very good looking set of ears. Using in critical care, emergency and pre-hospital.
